A January window for the next Scam chapter
Sony LIV released the first look of Scam 2010 on November 2, setting a January 2027 premiere window for the next instalment of the Hindi streaming franchise. Hansal Mehta directs the series, with Siddharth Bodke in the lead role and Birla Studios and Applause Entertainment producing.
Bollywood Hungama reported the first-look announcement and the streaming plan, while Dinamani carried Sony LIV’s announcement in its report. The platform has announced a month rather than a specific premiere day. The release is planned for Sony LIV, with Bollywood Hungama describing it as an exclusive premiere.

Dinamani identifies Bodke’s character as the late Subrata Roy, the founder of the Sahara group. That places a different businessman at the centre of this instalment from Harshad Mehta, whose story was dramatised in Scam 1992.
In comments reported by Bollywood Hungama, Bodke described preparing for the role by looking beyond a larger-than-life public image to the person behind it. He also spoke about the time spent with the character and the responsibility of joining an established series. Those remarks describe his approach to the performance, rather than establishing the drama as a documentary account.
[1][2]Where the new series sits in the franchise
The new first look follows a franchise that began with the 2020 release Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, directed by Mehta. Dinamani also places Scam 2003 among the earlier instalments. Scam 2010 continues that sequence with a new central figure.
For viewers following the announcement, the confirmed viewing window is January 2027. Sony LIV is the announced destination, while the exact launch date remains to be specified.
