What does the first look reveal?
Shreyas Talpade’s Manya has unveiled its first poster, introducing a courtroom drama from Subhash Ghai’s Mukta Arts. The announcement arrived on October 24 as the production house marked its anniversary. Cinema Express reports that the story centres on a 15-year-old accused of theft.
The poster places Talpade in a courtroom opposite the young person he is to defend. That image establishes the legal setting and the relationship at the centre of the first look, while leaving the boy’s circumstances and the course of the case for the film to reveal.
[1]Has filming finished, and who is involved?
Filming has been completed, according to an ANI report carried by Asianet Newsable on Saturday evening. The report also confirms the unveiling of the poster. This puts Manya beyond an initial casting announcement: the production has reached the end of its shoot, although a release date was not specified in these reports.
Sameer Joshi directs the film. Mukta Arts, Puneet Aggarwal and Rahul Puri are credited as producers, in association with Slow Burn Entertainment. Subhash Ghai presents the project. ANI names Samvedna Suwalka, Divya Sharma, Priyadarshini Pooja and Zoheb Farooqui among the other actors.

The project renews an association familiar to viewers of Iqbal, the 2005 sports drama directed by Nagesh Kukunoor that became Talpade’s breakthrough. Cinema Express also notes their earlier collaboration on Apna Sapna Money Money.
In comments reported by ANI, Ghai praised Talpade’s acting range and said working with him again had been rewarding. He also acknowledged the wider cast and the contribution of newer performers. For audiences, the first look now offers a different setting for that reunion: a young person’s story told through a courtroom drama.
