A man died after entering the tiger enclosure at Yorkshire Wildlife Park near Doncaster on Saturday, October 10, according to police accounts reported by AFP and published by NDTV. Emergency teams attended, but he was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering serious injuries. Yorkshire Ambulance Service said it deployed two road ambulances and an air ambulance. The response followed reports of a man entering the enclosure in the early afternoon. NDTV placed the police response at approximately 1:30 pm.

Yorkshire Wildlife Park started operating in 2009, and its Land of the Tigers attraction opened in 2011, according to the same report. The victim died despite emergency medical assistance.
