Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has been vocal in his opposition to any move that seeks to undermine the importance of the Tamil language in the state. He has reiterated that Tamil Nadu will continue to follow a two-language formula

with Tamil and English being the official languages of the state. The Chief Minister has made it clear that the DMK government will not tolerate any attempts to impose Hindi on the people of Tamil Nadu.
