KHSTU protests move to abolish teacher posts

The city of New Delhi witnessed a flurry of activity as teachers from across the state gathered to launch a day-and-night protest in front of the Directorate of General Education. The protest comes as a response to the government’s recent education policies, which have been met with widespread criticism and concern among educators.

Teachers are demanding better working conditions, increased pay, and more resources for schools in the state. The protesters have vowed to continue their demonstration until their demands are met, despite facing pushback from government officials.

The demonstration has garnered significant attention on social media, with many expressing solidarity with the teachers and calling for meaningful reforms in the education sector. As the protest enters its second day, tensions are high, but the teachers remain resolute in their determination to bring about change.
