External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is scheduled to visit the UK and Ireland from March 4-9 in a bid to enhance strategic partnerships. During his time in the UK, he will hold discussions with Foreign Secretary David Lammy and interact with dignitaries and the Indian community. The primary objective of the visit is to bolster the India-UK comprehensive strategic partnership across various sectors including trade, defense, health, and education. From March 6-7, Jaishankar will proceed to Ireland to engage with Foreign Minister Simon Harris, government officials, and the Indian diaspora. This visit underscores the commitment of both countries to further strengthen their bilateral ties and collaboration.
