The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has alleged that the ex-Pakistan prime minister, Imran Khan, is currently confined in isolation in a death cell at Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi. According to PTI leader Sheikh Waqas Akram, Khan is reportedly not allowed visits from his family and political associates, despite court directives. The party has also expressed worries about Khan’s well-being, pointing out a lack of medical check-ups and limited availability of reading materials. These assertions are yet to be confirmed. Imran Khan has been in detention since August 5, 2023.
