The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has alleged that ex-Pakistan PM Imran Khan is currently detained in solitary confinement in a death cell at Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi. Sheikh Waqas Akram, a prominent member of the party, has accused authorities of denying Khan visits from his family and political associates, in defiance of court mandates. The PTI has further expressed apprehensions regarding Khan’s well-being, pointing out a lack of medical evaluations and limited availability of reading materials. It is important to note that these assertions have not been independently verified. Khan has been in custody since August 5, 2023.
