The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has alleged that ex-Pakistan PM Imran Khan is currently detained in solitary confinement in a death cell at Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi. As per PTI leader Sheikh Waqas Akram, Khan is reportedly not allowed visits from his family and political associates, despite court directives. PTI has also expressed worries about Khan’s well-being, pointing out a lack of medical advice and limited access to reading materials. These assertions have not been independently confirmed. Imran Khan has been in custody since August 5, 2023.
