This decision comes in the wake of a recent incident involving actor Ranya Rao, who was arrested for alleged gold smuggling and misuse of security protocol at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA). Moving forward, additional security measures will only be extended in instances where there is a direct threat to an official. This move aims to enhance the efficiency and integrity of the protocol system within the state government.
