Samsung India employees’ union has ended their protest at the Chennai plant following successful negotiations with the company. The decision came after Samsung agreed to reinstate most workers, except for 23 individuals who are facing disciplinary measures. The reinstated employees are expected to return to work after undergoing a training program. Furthermore, Samsung has assured that salaries will be paid from Friday onwards. The union is now looking towards the state labor department to intervene on behalf of the suspended workers. This development marks a positive step towards resolving the conflict between Samsung and its employees, paving the way for a smoother work environment at the Chennai plant.
