Delhi Govt launches Mahila Samridhi Yojana, offers Rs 2,500 to economically weaker women on Women’s Day.

The Delhi government has recently given the green light to the Mahila Samridhi Yojana on the occasion of Women’s Day, offering financial assistance of Rs 2,500 to women belonging to economically weaker sections. This scheme, backed by a substantial budget of Rs 5100 crores, targets women with annual incomes of up to Rs 2.5 lakh and aged between 18 to 60 years. The initiative aims to empower women financially and uplift them from poverty, thereby promoting gender equality and women’s welfare in society. The Mahila Samridhi Yojana is a significant step towards supporting women in Delhi and providing them with the necessary resources to improve their livelihoods.
