In India, the government has announced new guidelines for international travelers arriving in the country. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued a statement detailing the protocols that travelers must follow to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Passengers must submit a self-declaration form on the online Air Suvidha portal before their scheduled travel. They also need to upload a negative RT-PCR test report conducted within 72 hours of the journey. Upon arrival, travelers must undergo a self-monitoring of their health for 14 days. They are required to report any illness or symptoms to the authorities immediately. Additionally, passengers coming from the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Middle East must undergo mandatory institutional quarantine for 7 days, followed by 7 days of home quarantine. These guidelines aim to curb the transmission of the virus and ensure the safety of the public. Travelers are advised to stay updated on the latest regulations and adhere to the protocols set by the government. Failure to comply with the guidelines may result in penalties or legal action. Stay informed and prioritize your health and safety when traveling to and from India.
