Nearly 300 Indian nationals have been safely repatriated to India from scam centers in Myanmar via Thailand. The rescue operation, which primarily focused on Chinese-run fraudulent establishments, resulted in the liberation of around 7,000 workers. India utilized a C-17 aircraft for the repatriation process, indicating more such missions in the pipeline. These scam centers are notorious for exploiting foreign workers in online fraud activities. In stark contrast to India’s approach, China has treated its repatriated citizens as potential criminal suspects.
