Banks to close for Holi on March 13-14 as per RBI guidelines; digital services to continue.

Banks across different states in India are set to remain closed on March 13 and 14, 2025, in observance of the Holi festival, following the guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). While physical branches will not be operational during these two days, customers can still avail themselves of digital banking services such as UPI payments and ATM transactions. This temporary closure is a common practice during major festivals in the country to allow bank employees to partake in the celebrations. It is advisable for customers to plan their banking activities in advance to avoid any inconvenience during the holiday period.
