Bitcoin Price Analysis: Bulls Attempt Comeback, Weekly Close Above $89K Crucial for Uptrend Confirmation

Bitcoin (BTC) has risen back above the 200-day simple moving average ($83,754), indicating a potential comeback by the bulls. Crypto analyst Matthew Hyland suggests that Bitcoin needs a weekly close above $89,000 to confirm a bottom, which could lead to liquidating approximately $1.60 billion in short positions. However, failure to achieve this may result in a drop to the $74,000 to $69,000 range. The recent inflows of $13.3 million into US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on March 12 were followed by outflows of $135.2 million on March 13, reflecting ongoing investor nervousness amidst tariff threats and actions by US President Donald Trump. Bitcoin’s price action is closely watched as it could influence the performance of other cryptocurrencies. Ether (ETH) has been trading within a tight range between $1,963 and $1,754, with the potential to climb to $2,111 if it breaks above the resistance level. XRP, BNB, SOL, ADA, DOGE, PI, LEO, and LINK are also being closely monitored for price movements. Cardano (ADA) and Dogecoin (DOGE) are facing resistance levels, while Pi (PI), UNUS SED LEO (LEO), and Chainlink (LINK) are navigating crucial support and resistance levels. Investors are advised to conduct thorough research and exercise caution in their investment decisions as the market remains volatile.
