The Central Government of India has urged Starlink, Elon Musk’s satellite project, to set up a control center within the country. This move is aimed at allowing authorities to suspend or halt communication services in critical regions as necessary to uphold peace and order. Moreover, it is required that the telecom giant assists in enabling call interceptions by law enforcement agencies. Starlink is currently collaborating with major Indian telecom providers like Reliance Jio and Airtel to enhance their network capabilities.
