The Indian government has officially approached Starlink, the satellite project by Elon Musk, to set up a control center within the country. This move aims to allow authorities to potentially suspend or terminate communication services in critical areas to uphold law and order. Moreover, it is expected that the collaboration will enable law enforcement agencies to intercept calls when necessary. Starlink is currently collaborating with major telecom players such as Reliance Jio and Airtel to enhance network capabilities in India.
