Telangana police, spearheaded by the Cyber Security Bureau, have initiated legal action against agents enticing people to Myanmar’s cybercrime hotspots, with nine FIRs already filed. This crackdown comes on the heels of 24 victims being repatriated and targets the fraudulent recruitment and coercive methods employed through social media platforms. The authorities are currently investigating additional cases and identifying more perpetrators involved in these illicit activities.
