A fire broke out at Raj Bhandar, a popular sweet shop located in Pratap Nagar, Nagpur, on Friday morning due to a blast in a deep freezer’s air compressor. Fortunately, the incident took place when the shop was closed, and no casualties were reported. Firefighters promptly responded to the scene and were able to control the blaze by 12:10 pm, averting any additional harm to neighboring properties. The estimated losses from the fire are approximately Rs20 lakh. The quick and efficient action of the firefighters helped in preventing a more significant disaster.
