Bathinda Police recently apprehended six suspects, two of whom are serving Indian Army personnel, after a swift operation. The individuals were allegedly part of a gang that committed a robbery at gunpoint using an assault rifle, believed to be an AK-47 pilfered from a military establishment. The crime transpired at the Green Hotel in close proximity to Bathinda, during which the perpetrators made off with Rs 7000 from the proprietor. Authorities are currently in the process of confirming the origins of the stolen firearm and are in communication with military officials to ascertain further details.
