While there has been an increase in funds allocated to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) components, other vital social welfare sectors have experienced a decrease in funding. A senior bureaucrat has verified the redirection of these funds, indicating a significant change in financial priorities within the Indian government.
