The Election Commission of India (ECI) has shown readiness to discuss the request for uploading booth-wise voter turnout information on the internet, as revealed during a Supreme Court session. TMC MP Mahua Moitra and the Association for Democratic Reforms are the petitioners given a 10-day window to present their case to the ECI. This move by the ECI is aimed at resolving any disparities in the voter turnout figures and enhancing the overall transparency of the election process.
