Fahim Khan, the alleged mastermind behind the Nagpur riot that took place on March 17, has been captured by law enforcement authorities. The riot erupted following speculations of effigies being set ablaze in the vicinity of Shivaji Putla Square, leading to significant destruction of property and numerous injuries. The incident prompted the imposition of curfews and heightened security measures in the area, coinciding with the scheduled visit of Prime Minister Modi. More than 50 individuals were detained in connection to the violence.
