A man from Connecticut, who was reportedly held captive by his stepmother for more than two decades, was found in a severely malnourished condition. The stepmother, Kimberly Sullivan, has been taken into custody. Following the shocking discovery, a fundraising initiative by Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury has successfully gathered over $100,000 to assist in his rehabilitation, including medical treatment, accommodation, and counseling services. More than 300 individuals have generously donated to help him embark on a fresh start.
