Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has played down the recent victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the local elections, highlighting that the party has achieved similar success in the past. Meanwhile, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini praised the local bodies for their contribution to realizing Prime Minister Modi’s vision. The BJP emerged victorious in nine mayoral positions across Haryana, with the exception of Manesar. Newly elected Mayor of Faridabad, Parveen Joshi, has vowed to prioritize addressing pertinent local concerns.
