Bitcoin whales signal market rebound as Binance inflows calm, hinting at $80K target, new data shows.

Bitcoin whales are hinting at an $80K ‘market rebound’ as Binance inflows cool, according to new research. Data from onchain analytics platform CryptoQuant shows that sell-side pressure from Binance whales is decreasing. Large-volume investors are finding Bitcoin at $80,000 attractive, while smaller investors are staying away due to panic. In a recent blog post, CryptoQuant contributor Darkfost revealed a decline in the proportion of the top ten largest inflows to Binance attributed to whales. The exchange whale ratio has been on a downward trend since mid-January, coinciding with Bitcoin’s latest all-time highs. This trend suggests that Binance’s whales are reducing their selling pressure, potentially signaling a market rebound. Both whales and larger entities holding at least 10 BTC have been accumulating coins this month. However, prospective BTC buyers are hesitant at the $80,000 price level, with overall appetite for BTC exposure remaining low. Glassnode also pointed out lackluster demand at current prices, referencing capital flows by short-term holders. The transition to net capital outflows indicates that new buyers are cautious, contributing to a more uncertain market environment.
