Former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi has taken legal action against the Vanuatu government for canceling his passport. Modi, who is presently in Vanuatu, has challenged the decision to revoke his citizenship. The Indian high commission in London rejected his plea to surrender his Indian passport. The Citizenship Commission of Vanuatu will hold off on revoking Modi’s citizenship pending the court’s verdict on the matter.
