Gold ETF inflows in India witnessed a significant decline of 47.22% in February, totaling Rs 1,979 crore, despite the soaring gold prices. This drop can be attributed to investors capitalizing on profits and exploring opportunities in the equity markets. Nonetheless, the inflows marked a substantial 99% surge compared to the previous year. UTI Gold ETF emerged as the frontrunner with impressive returns of 3.70%. Gold continues to be a crucial asset for portfolio diversification, especially in times of global instability, with the total Assets Under Management (AUM) growing by 7% to reach Rs 55,677 crore.
