A fire broke out at Raj Bhandar, a popular sweet shop located in Nagpur’s Pratap Nagar area, following a blast in the air compressor of a deep freezer. The incident, which took place on a Friday morning while the shop was closed, fortunately did not result in any casualties. Firefighters managed to swiftly bring the blaze under control by 12:10 pm, thereby averting additional damage to neighboring properties. The estimated losses from the fire are around Rs20 lakh. The timely response of the firefighters helped prevent a major disaster, and investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the blast.
