In a recent incident in Pakistan’s Balochistan, militants hijacked a train and held passengers captive for almost 36 hours. A swift military operation resulted in the rescue of hostages and the elimination of more than 30 militants. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) took credit for the attack, citing the release of political prisoners as their demand. Tragically, the incident led to the deaths of 21 civilian hostages and four military members, while the whereabouts of 140 other passengers remain unknown.
