Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna has requested a report from Delhi High Court Chief Justice D K Upadhyay regarding the recovery of cash from Justice Yashwant Varma's residence. The CJI is contemplating the establishment of an inquiry panel depending on the conclusions drawn from the report. Justice Varma, who was recently moved back to Allahabad High Court, has been at the center of this investigation.
