At least four fatalities and six injuries have been reported in wildfires raging through South Korea’s southeastern region, prompting the evacuation of approximately 1,500 residents. The fires have scorched more than 3,286 hectares of land, with firefighters deploying approximately 30 helicopters in their efforts to contain the blazes.
