Bharatiya Rashtriya Samithi (BRS) leader and Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) K Kavitha has criticized the Telangana government for its lack of transparency regarding the repayment of loans. She alleged that an amount of Rs 1.53 lakh crore was utilized for settling previous debts without proper disclosure of details. Kavitha further accused ministers of dodging questions related to the issue, pointing out that the information was not included in budget documents. The BRS, under the leadership of Revanth Reddy, staged a protest against the government’s handling of loans and urged for the publication of a white paper elucidating the process of loan procurement.
