The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against Deepak Chandra, a Senior Passport Superintendent in Ghaziabad, India, for allegedly possessing assets worth Rs. 85,06,900 that are disproportionate to his known sources of income. During searches conducted at his residences in Ghaziabad and Patna, authorities reportedly found Rs. 60 lakh in cash along with incriminating documents. The investigation into the matter is currently underway to ascertain the source of the unaccounted wealth.
