Telangana HC urged to intervene as Group I aspirants challenge TSPSC evaluation process, alleging unfair assessment.

More than 20 Group I aspirants in Telangana have approached the Telangana High Court to address their concerns about the evaluation process conducted by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC). They claim that the assessment was unfair as it lacked subject matter experts, which goes against a notification issued in February 2024. Justice N Rajeshwar Rao has instructed officials to provide necessary documentation and has set the next hearing for four weeks from now. He has also urged a temporary stop to the selection process until the matter is resolved. This move by the aspirants highlights the importance of transparency and fairness in the evaluation process for government exams.
