Police in Nagpur have apprehended Faizan Khatib, a member of an Islamist outfit, following a 10-day manhunt after the recent riots. Khatib, who had been hiding in Akola, returned to Nagpur for Eid celebrations, where he was captured on CCTV footage allegedly instigating violence. This arrest marks the third significant capture after Fahim Khan and Hamid Engineer. Khatib faces charges of rioting, arson, and molestation in connection with the recent unrest. The authorities are continuing their investigations into the incidents that led to the arrests.
