HAL’s Revenue Hits Rs 30,400 Crore Despite Delivery Shortfalls; Secures Rs 62,777 Crore Light Combat Helicopter Deal

Defence PSU Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has reported a provisional revenue of Rs 30,400 crore for the fiscal year 2024-25, showcasing financial resilience despite delivery challenges faced by its Light Combat Aircraft and Advanced Light Helicopter projects. The company’s strengthened order book has enabled HAL to enhance its production capabilities and bag substantial contracts, with a notable agreement valued at Rs 62,777 crore for the production of 156 Light Combat Helicopters. This significant deal underscores HAL’s position as a key player in India’s aerospace sector, solidifying its commitment to bolstering the country’s defence capabilities.
