In a recent development, the Indian government has announced new guidelines for foreign travelers entering the country. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued a statement outlining the updated rules that will come into effect soon. According to the guidelines, all international passengers must submit a self-declaration form on the online portal www.newdelhiairport.in at least 72 hours before their scheduled travel. Additionally, travelers must upload a negative RT-PCR test report conducted within 72 hours of the journey. Upon arrival, passengers will undergo a health screening, and those found symptomatic will be required to undergo a COVID-19 test at the airport. The guidelines also state that passengers must monitor their health for 14 days and report any development of symptoms to the National Call Center (1075) or the state helpline. These new rules are part of the government’s efforts to control the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the safety of its citizens. Foreign travelers are advised to familiarize themselves with the guidelines before planning their trip to India. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has urged everyone to comply with the regulations to help curb the transmission of the virus.
