The Indian government has recently announced new guidelines for international travelers arriving in the country. According to the latest regulations, all travelers must submit a self-declaration form on the online Air Suvidha portal before their scheduled travel. Additionally, passengers must upload a negative RT-PCR test result conducted within 72 hours of their departure. Upon arrival in India, travelers will be required to undergo another RT-PCR test at the airport at their own cost. The guidelines also state that passengers arriving from the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Middle East must undergo mandatory institutional quarantine for 7 days, followed by 7 days of home quarantine. However, travelers arriving from other countries are allowed to undergo 14 days of home quarantine. These new measures have been implemented in response to the emergence of new variants of the coronavirus and are aimed at controlling the spread of the virus in the country. It is advised that all international travelers adhere to these guidelines to ensure a smooth entry into India.
