Former railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav has filed a plea in the Rouse Avenue Court seeking acquittal in the IRCTC corruption case, stating insufficient evidence against him. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has accused Yadav of receiving valuable land in return for granting maintenance contracts to Sujata Hotels. The court is scheduled to deliberate further on this matter on April 21.
