Canada to end federal consumer carbon price, leading to potential gas price drop of 15-20 cents per litre.

Canada’s federal consumer carbon price is set to come to an end on April 1, leading to a potential decrease in gas prices by 15 to 16 cents per litre and diesel prices by up to 20 cents per litre. Along with this, the carbon rebate program will also cease in April. Despite the volatile nature of the global oil market, consumers could see savings of around $300 per year. This move is expected to bring relief to motorists across the country.
