West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has firmly opposed the Waqf Amendment Bill recently approved by the Lok Sabha. She has vowed to revoke the bill once the BJP-led regime is no longer in power. The bill managed to secure 288 votes in favor while facing 232 votes against it.
