The recent 7.7 magnitude earthquake in Myanmar has tragically resulted in a death toll of 3,085, with 341 individuals still unaccounted for and over 4,700 individuals sustaining injuries. In response to the devastating natural disaster, the military junta in Myanmar has declared a temporary ceasefire to facilitate rescue operations. International teams have been actively involved in providing close to 1,000 tonnes of relief supplies to assist those affected by the earthquake. The situation remains dire as search and rescue efforts continue in the aftermath of the earthquake.
