Prime Minister Narendra Modi has landed in Thailand for a two-day visit to attend the sixth BIMSTEC summit. During his stay, Modi is scheduled to hold talks with Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra and will be part of the signing ceremony for the Agreement on Maritime Cooperation with other BIMSTEC leaders. The visit also entails important meetings with influential regional leaders. Following his engagements in Thailand, Modi is set to travel to Sri Lanka as part of his diplomatic itinerary.
