In March, UPI in India achieved a milestone by processing 1,830 crore transactions amounting to Rs 24.8 lakh crore, marking a substantial 36% increase in volume and 25% rise in value compared to the previous year. The platform currently handles an impressive average of 59 crore transactions daily, with a daily value of about Rs 79,910 crore. This remarkable growth highlights the increasing popularity and trust in UPI as a preferred digital payment mode in the country.
