AICC’s Meenakshi Natarajan to Address Hyderabad University Land Dispute Over 400 Acres in Kancha Gachibowli

Meenakshi Natarajan, a member of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), is set to visit Hyderabad to address the ongoing land dispute concerning 400 acres in Kancha Gachibowli. The Telangana Congress had initially proposed using this land for industrial purposes, which was met with resistance from students and environmental activists. Following a Supreme Court order to cease deforestation activities, the state government has shifted its focus towards establishing an eco-park on the land, thereby abandoning the auctioning plans. This move comes amidst growing concerns over environmental conservation and sustainable development in the region.
