Jammu and Kashmir’s National Conference and Congress have voiced their concerns over the recent officer transfers by LG Manoj Sinha, accusing him of exceeding his authority and interfering in state affairs. In a resolution, they criticized the LG’s actions, particularly in relation to the Waqf Act. Despite the ongoing coordination between the elected government and the LG, the parties warned that any further attempts to undermine their powers will be raised in the assembly for discussion. The move by the opposition parties comes amidst growing tensions over the power dynamics in the region.
