Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to inaugurate the new Pamban Rail Bridge in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. This state-of-the-art 2.07-kilometre-long vertical lift railway sea bridge aims to bolster rail connectivity between mainland India and Rameswaram Island. Constructed at a whopping cost exceeding Rs 535 crore, the bridge facilitates high-speed train travel while also ensuring seamless maritime passage.
