BJP MLA T Raja Singh has voiced his support for the amended Waqf bill, stating that it will effectively put an end to ‘land jihad’ in India. Singh credited Prime Minister Modi for bringing about this change and took a swipe at AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi, branding him as the ‘biggest enemy of Muslims’ for opposing the legislation. The Ram Navami procession, which was led by Singh, concluded without any untoward incidents in Hyderabad, thanks to the stringent security measures put in place by the police. Singh’s remarks come amidst a backdrop of escalating tensions surrounding the contentious issue of Waqf properties in the country.
